How to take backup for issues only or total backup for Jira service management using script

Wanted to understand if there is any method to take backup of issues or whole project using script for Jira service management, like using Python or JSON script.

If anyone have tried this method and working successfully, please post the links or script here, it will be really helpful for us.

As an option to the backup script, you can try a third-party backup tool, like GitProtect backup and Disaster Recovery software for Jira Cloud, Jira service Management, and Jira Work Management.
