Hey Community,

I have set up a flat file import job in data manager.

  • There are 5 columns mapped.
  • The job can be called by the adaptor client however after 3 seconds on execution, I get an error message:

An error occurred while the backend was trying to extract uploaded data.Failed to process message in lambda.

Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any help would be grateful.

Thanks,

Danny

Hi @Danny Harris ,

Welcome to the community!

I don't have too much experience with the data manager but do have some experience with CSV imports into Jira Assets. If the CSV you're using has a good amount of rows I would try a sample of just 1 or 2 rows first and see if it's possibly due to any data issues. I would also double check your settings are set to use the same delimiter as the file

Found the issue - erroneous "0"'s in certain columns.

Thanks @Christopher Yen
