For Jira to consider an issue resolved, it needs a resolution to be set.  It will record when this is done in the "resolution date" field.

It sounds like your workflow is not enabling the selection of a resolution for the user (or using a post-function to set it)

Hi @Carlos Ramirez

While closing the issue, did you made sure that "resolution" was entered?

Hi,

Yes. The issue has date of creation but dont have date of resolution. The status is closed.

I try also changing the type of issue form request of service to task.  Close it and doesnt have date of resolution.

Thank you.

So in your case, since the resolution is not set, you are facing this issue.

Since Nic has already suggested, you need to check your workflow.
