As a paying customer, I should be able to ask a question on a feature I and many others deem is missing from this product.
We cannot filter JIRA queue without using an inferior, arduous and inefficient procedure of creating custom searches etc.
I simply want to filter by customer name on the fly to see what's left to do, or filter by product type, or filter by category etc. It's not just me, there are numerous requests spanning back multiple years with people asking for the same basic functionality.
Why is Atlassian ignoring this request and instructing moderators to remove these posts? This is a very valuable feature which I imagine any team would appreciate being able to navigate open queries (and indeed out list of 2,000+ closed queries!) quickly and efficiently.
Thank you.
Hi @cwood and welcome to the community!
You mean this post -> https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Removed-Posts/Still-no-queue-column-filters-in-2022/td-p/2070569 ?
If yes, then kindly see that you created a discussion and not a question. You can see your post if you go to your profile.
If it was another post, please let me know. But kindly know that as in all communities, there are guidelines which all users should respect! :)

I saw that discussion because someone pinged me about it.
They said it felt hostile and accusatory, rather than inviting discussion (or questions), a rant by someone who hasn't bothered to engage before, or worse, is someone who has, and has created a sock-puppet account so their vitriol doesn't get associated with their real account.
I wouldn't put it that strongly, but it certainly isn't the slightest bit constructive and the accusatory tone is not very welcome on the community.

I'm sorry the person who read it felt that way, but this is not an adequate excuse for a post removal, it was not hostile or accusatory, I think probably my most colourful language in there was "It's crazy that it's 2022 and we still don't have this"
It wasn't demanding, I was expressing disbelief that an industry-leading service has a table-structure as the core UI for its service and doesn't offer filter functionality.

I'm afraid that's not how others read it. I didn't see it as bad as others, but it certainly wasn't constructive and it was written in a way that was asking for answers that you wouldn't like - condescending or asking why you're posting a rant instead of engaging.

I can't say since I've not seen the original post, but if I were to speculate, maybe the original question was asked in a way that seemed hostile?
