All, I deleted specific users from the JIRA project. still Kathy Medllin received email from JIRA.
Could someone suggest how to fix it. May I know setting to check in JIRA to fix it.

My assumption is that when you say you "deleted a user from the project", you mean you removed them from roles in the project, or maybe removed them from a group that has access to it.
This will not change the fact that they are the reporter of, assigned to, named in a custom user field, or mentioned in, an issue.
They will continue to get notifications that those fields are named in in the notification scheme.

You need to check the notification scheme to see where they might match and why they're being notified, and then remove them from whatever is causing it.
