I want to move some issues from one Instance to another without effecting the Existing functionality

Hi,

I want to move some issues from one Instance to another without effecting the Existing functionality.

I have 2 instances which are

Instance A and Instance B

I have some 100 issues in Instance A which are Incidents i want to move those Issues to Instance B without effecting any kind of data loss or configuration changes.

Please provide me the step by step process how to Export and how to import into the Target instance.

Hi @Sreenadh ,

I'm sorry to say, but there is no simple solution in solving your problem. 
There is no easy export and import in Jira.

Also you need to specify your current setup a little bit more:

• Do you use Company Managed or Team Managed Projects?
• Do you habe custom fields or just default fields like summary etc. ?
• Do you want to transfer comments?
• Do you want to transfer attachments?
• Are the 100 from one project or are they split into several projects?
• Do both instances share the same set of users?
