In Jira, can you log in as a proxy user if the user is inactive?

In user management, a client asked me if it's possible to log in as a proxy user for an inactive user. Can this be done?

Hello @Ashok Shembde ,

Impersonating a user functionality is not available in Jira. But in case if u want to raise a request, you can make use of on-behalf of. Hope this helps.

Hello @Ashok Shembde , no. User either can be activated or deactivated. Each user is assigned to their specific Atlassian account which is based on different IDs'.
