Is it possible to see ticket details and the queue in the same view?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I'd like to see the ticket details and the queue at the same time. This could even be a hover text. It is time consuming to have to click into a ticket each time you want to see the body of the ticket. I must be missing something and can't be the first one to find this annoyance. Here is a doctored image of what I'd like to do with the queue on the left and the detailed view on the right
