I have this customfield where requestors put links in there but this is done by the triage specialists.
I am wondering for Jira Service Desk Cloud, if there was a way to have a field off the customer portal until it has been populated. Or maybe even an add in.
END STATE: customfield xyz doesn't appear on the customer portal when a request is being created but appears on the portal once the field is populated after it has been created.
Hello Patrick,
Thank you for reaching out to Community!
On the customer portal, fields that are added to the form are the only fields that will be visible for the customer after the ticket is created.
Fields that are not added to the form and the ones that receive a value after the ticket is created will be visible only for agents internally.
The workaround, in this case, would be to add a value to the field and add a comment with the value for the customer to see, but the field itself won't show in the portal.
Regards,
Angélica
Thank you for the reply. That is what I was almost certain but I thought I would check :).
