Is there an app for making more complicated searches rather than JQL?

I know there is basic search and JQL which can be used to do more complicated searches. I was wondering if there is an application that can do JQL for me or if there is an alternative to JQL? Thanks.

You could look at Scriptrunner for cloud which has additional jql features.

Is scriptrunner a user friendly drop down selection app? Is it more simple than learning JQL?

Hi,

The app just adds in additional jql functions.  So if you're already using jql, it's not a stretch to use the Scriptrunner jql functions
