Hello, we have an onboard new employee service request and would like to prepopulate the due date plus two weeks from the date the user starts the form. The user could manually update the date if an adjustment is needed.
For example, a user creates an onboard new employee service request on May 5th. When the form supporting the onboard new employee service request is displayed, a due date of May 19th is prepopulated in the due date field of the service request.
Thank you
@jbolton -
You can use Automation for Jira to create a rule (triggering action will be when issue is created) to update your issue's due-date value. Or you can do it via a post function call in the WF at issue creation to conduct the same action.
It will be easiest using Automation for Jira. Here is the documentation for Automation for Jira for your reference - https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-cloud-automation/
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Joseph; I appreciate the prompt answer to this question. Between the conditional formatting in forms and automation, the system does provide so much out-of-the-box functionality!
