I'm struggling with email notifications from Custom Events.
I've followed all these steps:

And made sure to select a Template (tried both the Issue Assigned and the Generic Event template):

However no one is receiving any notifications. The notification scheme has custom events, which are configured to notify a project role. Also tried a Group, and a single user (current user).
I'd love to get this fixed!
(Alternatively, if there's a way to notify a specific project role or group, when a new issue hits a QUEUE, that would also work. I've only found outdated or Server-related Atlassian community articles.)
