JSM + Jira component sync

I have an existing Jira project configured with compass and syncing components. I have access to these components over several projects. However in JSM I do not see these same components, is there a way to sync services between JSM & Jira with compass or is there a way to link the services we have in JSM with the services in other projects?

Good day, Welcome to Atlassian Community!!

When you create a new component that has the type service, application, or capability, an equivalent service will be automatically created in Jira Service Management.

I'm not getting anything to sync to JSM. I have a bunch of created services that are of service, application, capability but all i see in components are these in my jsm project. I do see them in my jira projects however
