JSM upgrade does not complete

When upgrading JSM to the latest version due to CVE-2023-22501 to installation does not complete.

I have downloaded the JSM application from Atlassian Marketplace in order to upload the application in the Versions & Licenses section. When I upload the application a popup with a status bar is displayed and it never stops.

I reloaded the page and then the old installed version seems to be uninstalled. I also restarted Jira. No change in upload application behavior.

Why is the application not installed?
What can I do to fix it?
