Jira Home button used to go to your last viewed dashboard but now it goes to our project list. Has this been a change by Atlassian or have I done something?
Can't find where you can set your home page preferences.
This is the response I had.
Hi Jo,
Thanks for flagging this with us!
This is a feature rolled out by Atlassian in an attempt to improve the navigation experience within JIRA.
There are no plans to be removing the Dashboards page and its functionality; however, we are currently exploring opportunities that may impact where it is positioned within the product.
We have seen in a handful number of cases where Dashboards are not used and therefore make the overall product experience confusing. For instance, new users and users who are less familiar with Jira often struggle with Dashboards being the very first page they see because there is not much there by default.
If this change is causing inconvenience for you and your team, please let us know and we'll into excluding your instance from this release.
Awaiting your response.
Thanks,
Enida
@Jo Steele, you are the second person that has reported this today (see this post). I am suspecting that Atlassian has made an update to some instances that has resulted in this change. My instance is still displaying the last dashboard I visited. So either the plan is to roll out the new default or it will get corrected soon. You can reach out to Atlassian support if desired.
