Jira Service Desk Request remove 501 character limit on portal form

Hi ! I want to remove the 501 character limit that my users see when entering text on a Service desk portal form 

My jira.text.field.character.limit is set to 32767

I created a Text Field (multi-line) custom field 

I added it to my request in  In a Jira Service Desk Request project 

but my users see this warning Must be less than 501 character(s).

but I want them to be able to expand the field to as long as they want

 We are on: Atlassian Jira Project Management Software (v7.13.11#713011-sha1:bfabf80

Hi @Heidi Lobecker ,

as specified on this guide https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-advanced-settings-938847828.html?_ga=2.263389068.1691819613.1597626978-1478559027.1570682324 the character limit should be from 0 to 2147483647. 

1. Choose Administration (  ) > System. 
2. Click the Advanced Settings button on the 'General Configuration' page.

3. Edit the value of a Key by clicking its value on the right of the page and modifying the existing value.

As JIRA System Administrator you can change it at your convenience.
