Using email request as a way to accept incoming solarwinds alerts. Turned off due to a brief maintenance window that would spew hundreds of alerts. Received hundreds of alerts after removing solarwinds email and when turned back on after maintenance window, audit logs were gone. What did i do wrong?
So I kinda answered my own question after checking the admin audit log. When i turned the email channel off, the system deleted it and created a new one.
