Hi,

Within Jira JSM, is there a way to track when an issue is moved from one project to another? E.g. with automation or even custom field to this?

Thanks,

Rajan

You should be able to check all operations in the issue history, but... it looks like there's an app for that :)

Here's a nice use case for the Issue History app: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/App-Central-articles/How-many-tickets-were-moved-from-one-Jira-project-to-another-Use/ba-p/2043430

@Lucas Modzelewski _Lumo_ thank you for mentioning Issue History for Jira from my team and the use case.

@Rajan Dangol, here is an example of the report:

You can book a demo to see how it works or try it for 30 days.

I think you can setup an automation to trigger when an issue is moved to another Project. You could then make that automation add a comment, or record in a field somewhere that it has been moved on a date/time.

You can try the app developed by our company CIFJ - Issue History Dashboard for searching the history changes. You can filter and export to CSV
