Jira: how copy , move task to another project automatically

Hi ,
Situation: In project X task is created with label X , create automatically task in project Y with same label and assign to specific person.
it's imposible ?
maybe a few steps , first we need somehow copy/clone ticket , then move to another project , assign..
ideas ?

Hi Edgar,

this works with Jira Automation. It looks more or less like this:

When a task is created in project x, this automation creates a task in project y and copys field values like labels, summary and assigns a person to the task.

Automation is not free addon , what we can do without this ?

Automation is already implemented in Jira Cloud. There are only limitations regarding number of rule executions which depends on the product plan you are having.

There is probably no other option without purchasing any other app.

You will need to install automation or one of the other scripting/automation apps to enable this
