Jira issue creation from slack

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!

I received error messages as follows.

"You can't raise a request on behalf of this user because they need the customer role on your site managed by your organization admins."

 

all users are internal customers.

Can anyone shed lights on here?

Welcome to the community.  I would recommend for you to check on your specific JSM project that you are having the issue with -

  • Check the project's Customers Permission setup - to see if the Channel Access setup is set to "Open" and not "Restricted".  You can see the setup is from Project settings >> Customers Permissions.
  • Check to see if all of your internal users are given the Service Desk Customers role
