Jira service desk queues columns disappears when adding more column fields

Hsi-Pei Liao February 11, 2019

Hello everyone

Recently if I wanted to modify the columns for existing or new queues. The columns would go missing.

Example:

1) Click "New queue" to create a new queue at the service desk.

2) Add "Impact" to the Columns to view and the rest of the Columns in the middle goes missing.

Is there something I can do to try to figure out why this is occurring? Thank you.

that is quite odd. can you clear the columns completely and add them back in and observe? I would try a couple different test, e.g. adding Impact first. I'm wondering if there in an addon causing this, do you have any installed?

Hi Jack

Once you mention addon, I've decided to try it on a different browser, and I didn't experience this issue.

At this time it looks like it's related to Chrome + extensions. I'll look into this further as it is not being experienced in Firefox.

Hopefully, I'll figure this out and let you know. Thanks!

Hi Jack

I figured out the Chrome extension for everhour.com is causing this, which I'm using to track time.

I'll report this to them and ask them to look into it.

At this time the workaround is either just use a different browser to create/modify queues or disable the extension temporarily.
