Hi community.
I'm currently working on a project and want to provide support for our customer portal in different languages. For this, I have created for my project the translations for Spanish and Portuguese and kept it up to date as you can see below.
However, when I access my customer portal I don't see the languages as available:
Welcome to the community.
This option is a marketplace app, as on an ootb instance I'm not able to use or even see this option. What app is used to provide this option.
As the option in you 1st screen shot are ootb language options in a company managed JSM project, but is certainly not related to the option in the second screenshot
This related to the answer provided by @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_
You can also find this in the documentation on JSM languages
Your instance makes use of the following app; Translation for Jira Service Management
Searched for in on the web.
So to add other languages in the selector, the settings in this app need to be changed

Hi @Marc - Devoteam ,
Thank you very much for this. I was not aware of this previous app to it was causing me issues. I have added the languages and now they display correctly.

Hi @Maximilian Mata and welcome to the Community!
Usually Customers will set their prefered language in their Atlassian Account (Profile). If they are not logged in, the browser's language will be used.
I've never seen this dialougue before. From where did you open that?

Hi @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_ , thank you!
This option appears when you click on your profile while in the Customer Portal, so the option that most customers will use.

As @Marc - Devoteam said, this is most likely a 3rd Party App. You will have to check the options of whatever App you are using for that. I guess you have to add languages manually to that. Not sure if the App is regarding the translations you provided via the "standard" JSM functionality.
The Vendor will probably have a Support as well, which you could ask if you have further issues.
