I am using JSM to create a ticket whenever an assets service date is approaching using Jira Automation. It all works fine and a ticket is created and the relevant manager is being notified as well.
The issue is that I am unable to link the newly created JSM ticket to the Assets Object field automatically. I can do it manually by typing in the assets name within the JSM ticket itself. I I have tried adding the Assets Object Field using the syntax below:
I get this error message on execution of the automation rule:
I am not sure if I am using the incorrect syntax for this or if linking assets object to a JSM issue is not possible through automation. I also tried using {{Object.URL}} but it doesn't create the link btw the object and the JSM ticket.
Hi @Athar Mushtaq ,
Would you please share the whole automation rule? I think object key should work instead of Name. Thank you.
