List asset schema Names as asset categories in custom field

Hi all i want to list in a custom field (Categories) as a menu the object names Workstations, Cash Registers, Printer, not the underline assets just the names of "Categories". Is there a way to accomplish this?

ObjectTypes can't be show in a custom field, only the objects can be shown or values from attributes.

Thanks for the quick response Marc, shame though as many customers want categorization based on their asset categories in ticket submission.

Then have a normal custom cascading field and represent your categories there, or create a category CI object list in assets, and us these objects in a assets custom field

It's the same as setting up a database, you can you information from the tables, but you can't display the table structure in query.
