Mail error "connection reset" when setting up inbound mail from Google Workspace mail account

We started having a problem last week in retrieving mail messages and converting to service management tickets from Google Workspace. It worked fine until last week and then just stopped. Now, when we try to connect, we get "Connection Reset"

We have tried all of the currently posted solution of using 'App Specific Passwords' with no success. The old option for turning on 'Less Secure Apps' does not work and is being deprecated 5/2022.

It seems that reliable support for one of the most popular mail platforms should be a priority. Anyone else having this issue? Or even better..... a recommended solution?

This is Artur again, we worked on the case you opened with this same question.

So to help other users which may have similar issues like this, I would like to confirm the issue was solved by using the new OAuth 2.0 authentication method.

Yes. This issue was resolved by setting the mail connection up with OAuth 2.0. Thank you for your help.
