Making the affected services field visible to customers, possible or not?

Pim van Lier October 3, 2024

I am currently setting up our jira portal, now I want to add the field affected services in the request types, adding it works but the field is then not visible to customers, how can I adjust this because it is a blocked field, the reason I want to add this field is that our customers can immediately indicate for which service they want to submit a request or malfunction, is this possible or am I looking for something that is not possible at all?

Hi Pim,

The affected service field will not appear for users without a Jira license.

You can vote for the feature here:

Hi Pim - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I am pretty sure this is a field that can only be updated by an Agent.
