Migrate a Issue from a Company managed board to a Team managed board.

I want to clone a issue from a company managed Board into a team managed Board.

Hi @scherdin 

It gets messy going from Company-managed to Team-managed and vice versa. You might try doing a Create Issue instead of a Clone Issue and then choose all of the fields. You should be able to do a Copy from Trigger Issue for most of the fields.

Do you have access to the Team-managed project?

Yeah im a global admin.

Just because you are a "global admin" does not automatically give you access to every project. You need to go into the Project Settings on the Team-managed project and see how the access is setup.

It's private, but I'm part of the Project as an admin as well.

And can you successfully create an issue on the project directly with the Create button?

Yes, I already found the Issue it tried to pull the parent, I simply removed the Parent field. But thanks regardless.

If you are willing to use a third party app, you can try our Deep Clone for Jira.

Deep Clone can clone issues including the whole issue hierarchy between company-managed and team-managed projects and will map your custom fields as long as they have the same names.
