Hi all 👋,
we're currently migrating our Jira Service Management Server to Cloud. I'm looking for a clean and easy solution for the user migration. I mean, without migration all my users (300+) into the internal Jira directory. We're pondering several ideas but all involve lot's of "search + replace" steps and are still not migration everything (e.g. attachements). All steps suggested for site import and user migration don't really work for us.
Has anyone found a way for Jira Service Management? I'm really missing the migration assistant from Jira Software here😕
THX everybody and have a fun day!

Your only option currently is to use Site Import. This requires that your Cloud site be empty, though. If your instance contains data, you will need to convert the JSM Projects to a type that JCMA can deal with and convert the Project back to a Service Desk in Cloud. You will need to manually recreate the JSM specific functions, such as SLAs, reports, etc this way, unfortunately I hope that helps..
Hi Dave,
thanks for your reply! You mean, if I clear my instance of all data (of course I have data there to play aroud before migration 😉) the site import works without the thing with the internal user directory?
Much appreciated and best regards,
Manja

Check the first "site import" link that I posted. It more-or-less has a step by step process that you can follow. When you perform a site import, all data in your Cloud instance will be deleted. If you plan to use Access, you should set that up and populate your users before performing the site import. That should save you some headaches.
