Hi, I'm viewing a service request issue in a service desk project using the "New Jira Issue View" and want to create a linked issue in another project as described here:
However, the "More" button described in the instructions above does not seem to appear anywhere on my screen. If I switch to the old ticket view, I can find the "Create linked issue" function under the ... button on the far left.

The document you are using is for Jira server and Jira you are using is Jira cloud
Server and cloud are little different on the look and feel

In Jira cloud, is there any way to create a new linked issue while viewing an open issue using the "New Jira Issue View" (like you can in Jira server)?
The option doesn't appear in the ... menu while in that view (see screenshot below).

I don't think there is a way to create an issue from inside another issue with auto link, however You may create an issue by clicking create and then fill the linked issue in create screen with current issue key

You can create a new issue that is linked by first clicking the link button, and then clicking the Create linked issue link.
