I have a field for Point of Contact that needs to also be reflected in the Request Participants field but the automations I've created for this aren't working. I need the users in the Point of Contact field to receive email notifications from the ticket but currently only Request Participants, Assignees, and Reporters receive them. Is there a solution to this?

You can update the Notification Scheme for the Project to include users in this field. I assume that the field gets populated with the form is filled out?
Or you can copy the value of the POC field to the Request Participants field by an automation rule when the ticket is created.

Is the Point of Contact field a user picker field? In order to set the request participant field via automation you need to know the Atlassian Id for the user that you want to set unless you pick from the list presented in the step.
