New custom fields for automation

Hi

I have created a new custom field to be able to make an automation that will fill this field according to the language but I don't see it in the list when I make my automation.

Thanks

Did you access the automation after you created the custom field? You may want to close the tab with the automation and then come back to it. If you have an open session of the automation page when you create a new field, that field is not picked up.

Hi @Emmanuel F-D

There is a chance that the field you have created is not supported in the Jira Automation as you can see in the picture below:

However, as the message clearly states, you can use the advance JSON edit to input the value in your field. More about advance editing here: https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/advanced-field-editing-using-json/

Hope that helps!

@Emmanuel F-D -

In addition to what @Mikael Sandberg stated, have to try to search for the custom field by key in the name in the search box or scrolling further down in the dropdown list.  NOTE - the field names for custom fields are always located at the end of the list.

Hope this helps.
