Hi everybody.
I am having an issue about email notifications in JSM when customers can mail requests.
My client's customers get that email when sending a request :
Subject: [Action required] Validate your email address to complete your registration to jiraXXXXX.atlassian.net
In order to send your request for jiraXXXXX.atlassian.net, please validate your e-mail address. For reasons of confidentiality and security, please do not share this link with anyone.
Confirm your e-mail address
Your Atlassian account
(roughly translated from french)
Where can I deactivate that type of email (if I can) ? I found a parameter (see capture, but I am not sure).
Thanks in advance.
thanks for your question. If you are deactivating the option with the red x, the customers need to create an account before they can create requests.
With your current setup, they only need to type in their email upon creation and an account is created in the background (which needs to be done, to set them as a reporter)
After this, they will get the mail you mentioned, to complete their registration process.
So deactivating this setting will deactivate this specific mail, but will require them to create an account an login before creating requests.
