Hi all!
I have a team that is going to be moving into Jira that has been tracking all of their work in 1 Google Sheet and it has 100+ tasks in there. Is there a way to import the data into Jira to automatically create tasks so that we don't have to manually do this?
We are not looking for an integration just a one time upload and we are on the server version of Jira.
Hi @Cailyn Steinhardt ,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
You can do it easily by using the Import by default method in Jira.
Just go through the below link and import it in Jira.
"Note:- At the time of import file format must be CSV and Field mapping details"
Please Accept the Answer If it helps you😊

Hi @Cailyn Steinhardt ,
thanks for your question. Is is totally possible by using the CSV import.
It is in easy process, that lets you map the data from the import file to jira fields.
You can find the detailed documentation on the import feature here.
It will guide you through all the steps, one by one. With this method it is also possible to make updates to issues, but I would not recommend that.
If you have any questions to add, please feel free to ask.

Thank you! That is helpful! I was only finding articles on how to do it through the cloud version so I will take a look at the link you sent.
