When I click on the bottom left - Open Article in New Window - I get a message that I need to sign into Atlassian.
Is there anyway to remove that? Or is there a feature when it's clicked, it will open the published article in a new window to view larger text?
I don't want my viewers to get this error message when they view my published articles and I don't want them to have access to edit what I publish.
@Keith Robben It looks like you have refined theme installed on your instance. The link you are setting is opening the article in Confluence. If the Confluence space is not setup to allow anonymous access (everyone can access it) then it will require you to login.

Part II to my question - is it possible to remove the option in my publication of 'Open Article in New Window'?

@Keith Robben I am not aware of a way to turn off the open article in new window function. I know on server it used to use a proxy user to make those pages available but I don't think it works that way in cloud. You can submit a support issue to refined here https://help.refined.com/page/contact-us
For anonymous access to work you need to make sure that everything is setup properly on your instance. Here is a KB on how to do that https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/make-a-space-public/ In order for this to work Public Link can not also be enabled https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/share-content-externally-with-public-links/ you will need to choose one.
