Hi folks,
We've got our customers set up into different organizations in JSM. Some of our customers in a given organization have voiced they don't want/need as many notifications, while others in different organizations have said they want everything.
Outside of creating automations to address this, is there a way to configure notifications so that different JSM organizations have different settings, within a given project?
For example:
Project: ABC
Organization 1: Wants all notifications
Organization 2: Wants everything other than when comments are edited
Is there a way to turn off comment editing notifications for Organization 2 without also turning those notifications off for Organization 1 in project ABC?
Hi @Zach Wettlaufer on Atlassian's Jira site I found JSDCLOUD-6209 and JSDCLOUD-9432 which look like would be a way to configure by organization who gets what.
Feel free to vote for and watch it for future updates.
Hope that helps.

As noted by the open change requests mentioned by @Dan Breyen there is no native capability to configure customer Notifications per Organization.
The native work around would be to disable the native Customer Notifications and built automation rules to send the notifications instead.
There may be third party apps that would help you manage the notifications with finer granularity. Are you open to considering an app?

We would be open to considering an app if it would provide us the functionality we're looking for. Do you know of any that would give us this level of granularity?

I don't know of one that would specifically meet that requirement.
Looking through the Atlassian Marketplace my search efforts did not readily reveal any that immediately appeared to handle your case.
