Hello! I want to set a project with ET key as a Parent link for Epic with TXL key. TXL is a different project and I wonder if project in ET can be parent for TXL Epics. Because when I search for a ET project's name, there is no such option. I can see only PBMP projects available for Parent link. Could someone help find out why parent link list doesn't show all projects in Jira? Should I set this in Parent Link configuration (even if it's locked field)? Appreciate any help!
Jira displays any issue available to Parent Link an Epic.
Maybe you don't have the required permission on the ET project to have an issue of her type displayed.
Can you confirm that you have direct access to the EXL project? Also, you should know that an issue can only be set as a Parent Link of an Epico if it is at a level higher than the Epico level in Jira settings.
Hi Fernando!
Yes, I think the reason is that I didn't set issue hierarchy for my project. Where I can set this?

The hierarchy is defined by Jira's global interface.
Click the admin gear icon > Click 'Issue type Hierarchy' and adjust the hierarchy for Jira. Note that changing the hierarchy will affect the Issue Type structure in all other projects where he may be involved

I found settings where I need to add 'Project' issue type to hierarchy level. When I clicked Save it showed me this message. Does it mean that existing Parent links may be broken even though I am not removing any issue types from hierarchy or is this just warning sign in case I remove any of issue types?

This space is for you to change the hierarchy globally.
If you just need to add an Issue Type to your project, follow this page: Add, edit, and delete an issue type
