Populating list values dynamically in a single select custom field

Hi, I have a custom drop down/single select field by the label of "Define sub-type" in my Service Request form. I want its list values to populate dynamically based on the selection in the Request Type field e.g. if a user selects Finance in Request Type, the define sub-type field should show the values Finance A, Finance B. Whereas if a user select 'Reports and Dashboards" in Request Type, the define sub-type field should show "Reports A, Reports B". How can i do that ?
