I'm looking at this add-on for the ability to send marketing mass emails to our customers. I'm struggling to understand how this app integrates with Jira issues though. And I have some questions. Hoping that someone out there is using this and has good information. (I tried to contact the vendor but the page was a 404).
1. I see that you create People (customers) in the Proactive app, but then how do you associate those people on a JSM ticket? Do I create a custom field called "Customer" on the JSM ticket and then it's a picklist that pulls from the Proactive set of customers?
2. We use Organizations. I read that sending mass emails to the Organizations does not get the email to the specific people within those Organizations. Would I need to set up each of these individual customers as People in the Proactive App? So this means that I am maintaining customers in JSM project and in Proactive app. ??
3. Does anyone know if this app keeps tracking data of when the email was sent, when/if it was opened by the customer, etc.?
4. How is this used with JSW? In other words, if we want to send an email to all customers experiencing Bug-A. can we do that from JSW?
