Hi @Gohil Jay ,

please check indexes. Try to reindex instance or single project. It should fix your issue.

Hope this helps,

Fabio

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_

Thanks for your quick response, I'm newbie to Jira so would ask how to do it.

Thanks 😊

Hi @Gohil Jay ,

as a JIRA Admin you should be able to perform an instance reindexing

as a Project Admin you should be able to perform a project reindexing

Take a look to the following article https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/search-indexing-938847710.html

Hi @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_

By re-indexing the project, will it change the whole project or just the issue?

Hi @Gohil Jay ,

reindexing will align the whole project.

If forcing a re-index (which you can do for a single issue, without admin rights, by simply commenting or editing it - put an extra . in the description or something) does not work, then you will need to debug it yourself:

  • What dashboard gadget and what does its config say?
  • What is the filter the gadget is using to select issues?
  • How exactly does the issue not match the filter?

Hi @Nic Brough -Adaptavist-
basically its a filter, which shows all those tickets from thousands of issued tickets, for particular Query.

The ticket has all those tags necessary as others do, but the filter is not showing some tickets.

thanks

Hi, @Gohil Jay !

Like told Fabio - try to re-index your issue. To do it just add a comment there (current issue will be reindexed).

Can you show screens with your board's filter and screen with your issue?

Maybe something wrong. Thanks.

Hi @Alexander Bondarev
Unfortunately I am not allowed to share the SS.

do you mean adding an extra comment under the ticket or?

Thanks

yes, you can add comment /change status / edit field - after that issue will be re-indexed.

So, if you can't see it on your board - problem with your filter.

To configure it we should see filter-query and screen of issue.

Idea B - Do you use Kanban board? Have you configured there sub-filter?
