I'm Jira org admin and I cannot select a specific field to be displayed on any issue card, even within a company-managed project. I've already configured the security schemes, and after adding the field to a card layout and saving the changes, nothing happens. The field automatically reverts back to its original location.
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone has any insights or solutions to this problem.
Thanks,
We have the same problem.
We're definitely not on the free plan.
This is a company-managed project and as with the OP, when adding the Security Level field to the issue layout it removes itself immediately after saving.
The field has definitely been added to the screen attached to the issue type too.
Any insights, is it not a feature for Work Management projects?
Hi Denize - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Have you also added the field to the actual screen in the screen scheme used by the project? Not the Issue Layout, but the screen (Settings > Issues > Screens)

Oh, I also see that you are using a Free subscription. Is that the case? Because you cannot configure any permissions in the Free version, including Issue Level Security.

No I'm not in a free plan. I have standard subscription for jira Work Management.
The problem is that I was able to add the security level, but it returns to the same place after saving the update.
I'm glad your help.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. The Product Plan above right for this question says Free. So back to the other question - have you added the field to the actual screen?
