In Jira Service management and Software management project, we need a way to distinguish certain comments from the rest. We are currently using hashtag, but prefer some sort of button or dropdown choices to choose from so that users don't have to remember the different choices.

By the end of last year we created an App called "Comment Toolkit for Jira". This app gives you the ability to create labels and then add them to ticket comments (in JSM or JIRA) in order to be able to filter issue comment based on a specific label, filter issues via JQL and label or even launch automation based on comment labels.
