What format or file do I use to upload an application (specifically the Service Manager) to an existing jira instance?

@Pam Johnson You can download the installer here: https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira/service-management/download-archives  You will select your operating system and it will provide the proper file format.  You will need to also make sure that the version you download is compatible with your core/software version.  If you are using server and do not have a license you will have to move to a data center instance since server licenses are no longer sold.

To install Jira Service Management on an existing Jira Software/Core instance, please follow these steps:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-install-jira-service-management-in-existing-jira-instance-849158594.html

On the webpage, you will find detailed instructions for installing Jira Service Management on your existing Jira Software/Core instance. Follow the steps provided on that webpage to ensure a successful installation.

Additionally, if you want to download the OBR file for JSM and upload it to your Jira instance, you can use the following URL:

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1213632/jira-service-management/version-history

Make sure to download the version of Jira Service Management that matches your existing Jira Software/Core version. For example, if you are using Jira 9.4.6, download Jira Service Management 5.4.6.
