Hello all,
Is there a 'simple' way to bulk upload new users into our Jira platform?
We have 30-40 to add, and I cannot find an exact explanation on how I can do this seamlessly without taking ages.
Any support would be great!
Thanks.
Hi @Joshua Stokes ,
User's need to be added to your Cloud site first before adding to the Jira platform. You'll need to be a site admin or org admin to do this.
They can be added in bulk using a list comma separated. I think it's about 20 at a time but if this is a one time thing. This should suffice.
If your site is connected to an IDP, the users can be bulk added to the IDP to be provision onto your Cloud site and place in a group with Jira Product access.
If you plan to do this often and in large chunks you may want to look at this post in regards to marketplace apps.
All the best.
Thanks @Benjamin
Sorry yes, I meant added into our cloud site.
This should be a onetime thing, so adding them in lots of 20 will be okay for now.
Am guessing it is like the below -
Settings > Users > Invite Users
Then add in the Users > Select Product Role > Invite Users
And then they should get an invite email?
Thanks for your help!!
