Hi,
It was noted that Jira service Management version 4.14 allows the same previous password when resetting/updating the password.
Is there a configuration validation setting in Jira Service Management that can limit the users from using the same, previous password please?
Thanks in advance.
Regards
Jael
Thanks so much for your question.
Jira Service Management follows the general Jira Password policy. I believe what you are looking for is to set the Password Policy to the level of security you require. This configuration page can be found under <jira_base_url>/secure/admin/EditPasswordPolicy!default.jspa
For more details on the possible password configurations, see: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/manage-password-security-938847028.html
Thank you,
