I just modified my workflow to add an approval step with an approval group.

But once I'm in, I can't add people to it.

Can you check your custom field "Approver groups" context? It may not be associated with the issue type or project you're working on.

I think it is but I just want to do something simple
a request with approval and add a person who approves and then it seems so complicated
