Asset Report

Hi Everyone,

i need to build some dinamically report for my object schemas, something like a pie chart that show e.g. the number of assets for each specific company. Acrtually using the normal report from asset i cannot hit my goal. Do you know any plugin that can help me ?

To be honest, (imho) the reporting that is available out of the box for Assets is very limited and not user friendly.

I would suggest looking at an app to connect to your own reporting tools.

If you have Power BI for example in your Microsoft licensing, you could look at a Power BI connector. That will provide a REST endpoint on which you can connect your report and pull in the data.

The one that we have had good experiences with is the one from Tempo (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1221150/power-bi-connector-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview) but i'd suggest to install a trial and test it out yourself.

If you wish to remain inside of your Atlassian instance yo ucould also look at something like EazyBI

Hi Dirk,

thaks for your suggestion at the moment I'm evaluating Eazybi, because Power BI is more expensive  then It.
