Asset rest api - no reliable source of documentation

I've been vacuuming google looking for some relevant and credible documentation for the jsm Asset REST api.
Every single site I visit has different url's, procedures and alleged solutions.
Where is basic documentation? This link is the closest I can get. https://insight-javadoc.riada.io/assets-rest/.
However without success as the page does not mention anything about authentication and bearer token. How do I search among all schedules and objects for example? Do I have to point out an object type or similar?
Many questions, few answers.
