Hi there,
We have set up our business customers (Company XYX, Company 123, etc.) in Jira Service Desk. In some cases, individual customers (jdoe@companyxyz.com) are appearing in a list within the Company XYX. In other cases, they are just in a long list under the list of the companies.
We'd like to:
1) move all the one-off users into their respective customers
2) ensure any new individuals added are added at the Customer level rather than in a long list.
I have searched the knowledge bas and have not found anything to help with this effort. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Many thanks!
Andrea
Hi,
There is a small plugin I had written for someone. It has a periodic task that puts customer under organizations using a heuristic. If a new customer has email address abc@xyz.com, it searches organizations and checks first member of the organization. In any organization, if first member has also an email that belongs to the xyzy.com domain, it puts new customer also in the same organization. I haven't updated this add-on for a long time and I don't know how it works now. But it is open-source, you can try it and customize it if you want.
