Automation to send email notification to users in project role

I want to send an email notification to users in perticular project role.

I have created an automation but I am unable to see an option as project to sent email to.

How can I create it?

This is still an open feature request in the Automation Backlog.

The best approach would be to create a Jira Group with all the project members and manage it for the members. After that, you can communicate by sending emails to the group.

I am vivek from Appfire,

If you have the JMWE app  installed on your cloud instance, you can fulfill this requirement by taking the following steps:

1. Add the "Email issue(s) Post-function" on workflow transition.
2. In the configuration, you will have the option to select the project role to whom you'd like to send the email.

I am from Appfire, the vendor of the JMWE app.
