Hello,

I am trying to connect the Case object to Jira Cloud from the Connections tab in Jira. When I go to add a Salesforce Object, select Case, and hit Next, I am stuck on the loading screen for 10-15+ minutes... Any idea what could be causing this? I have refreshed/tried a new browswer/etc. Screenshot 2023-06-26 at 8.14.34 AM.png

Hi @Gianna Mannarino

Welcome to the community! This is Majid @ Exalate.

I am not sure if you have been able to resolve the issue or not. If you are still looking for an integration solution, I would request you to look at Exalate that boasts a scripting engine where you can pull related records from Salesforce into Jira (among other things).

Hope it helps!

Thanks

Majid

Hi Gianna!

Hajar here from the support team.

Due to multiple Record Types configured in the Salesforce object, when the import layout option is enabled, the connector does not have the capability to select the correct Record Type of the object that has the layout that needs to be imported.

This results in the connector getting stuck in an endless loading cycle. To resolve this behavior, please follow these steps:

  1. Disable the Import layout option, when adding Salesforce objects to your Jira connection.
  2. Click Next to add the fields manually to the compact layout.

For more information regarding the compact layout, check "Step 9" of the following documentation:
